I assume there are many factors to OW but I haven't really done much research about it myself so I don't exactly have much to say about it apart that I managed to get a new account falsely Sure, it makes sense but personally I would hate to have an OW of me reviewed by someone who is at a rank dramatically lower than mine. It's also the first offense on the account. I ended up not really caring that much but if my main were to get falsely OW banned then it would be a completely different story, I would most definitely end up calling Valve if possible.ĮDIT: Since I did get a notification stating that my ban would be lifted on the 16th brings me to believe that it wasn't a cheating ban. It's probably highly unlikely to get falsely OW banned if you are playing on your main but if you get a new account then the chances seem to be much higher if you are a decent player. I did message Valve in hopes of them looking into it since I 100% don't cheat but I have yet to get a reply. I've also read that the people viewing your OW case are usually near or below your rank, if this is the case then I wouldn't be surprised if I were banned for "Cheating" since most GNs call cheats on me. I've managed to get GN on purpose after the 10 matches but in the process I might have been reported for "Griefing" as I wasn't exactly attempting to play at my best. I did play very well during that time and my rank was floating around Gold nova but my main is currently LEM(It's kind of annoying playing vs blatant cheaters). I logged onto the account on the 17th to check it out and it still shows the "Global Cooldown" at the top when I launch the game. I've also received a griefing ban on a new account I've created to play with some friends (I know, everyone says this but there's no reason for me to lie about this.), at least that's what I think it was since I don't cheat and it did say that it would be lifted on the 16th of January 2018.
